![]() This is exactly what I wanted from Catriona Ward, a book full of weird and twisted and what the heck did I just read moments. I got a bit more nervous after I really didn’t love LITTLE EVE, but was still happy to find a place on my TBR for this one and thankfully this book did not disappoint. I read and loved THE LAST HOUSE ON NEEDLESS STREET so immediately ordered SUNDIAL and have been eager to get to it ever since it came out. Callie herself is also concerned about her mother and about the secrets both she and her mother keep. There she must confront her past and her fears about and for her daughter. When she begins to fear that her younger daughter is at risk, Rob takes Callie to Sundial, the place where she grew up. ![]() Rob is afraid that Callie has something dark in her, something that lives in the family history she would like to forget. ![]() With her first daughter Callie, she never fully bonded and now she sees her daughter collecting bones and talking to imaginary friends. She didn’t have the most traditional upbringing, but she’s now married with two kids and she really wants to believe she’s living a normal life. ![]() SUNDIAL by Catriona Ward follows a woman named Rob. ![]()
